a legacy from the tube story

The seeds of Technocraft Scaffolding division were sown back in 1993 when the Group first diversified into the Steel tubes business by acquiring Maharashtra Steel Tubes. After running this business for 7 years, the company decided to pursue a value addition strategy and diversify into tube products. This led to the creation of Technocraft’s Scaffolding division in 2000. At the time, there being no standards for engineered system scaffolding in India, the company decided to venture into the developed world markets of US, UK, Europe, Australia etc. We began our journey in UK and Ireland markets in early 2000 through development of our Techstage products and gradually obtained approvals for our scaffolding systems in Australia, US and Europe. To increase our market penetration, we established our own sales and distribution companies in these markets and kept stock of our products to sell and service the end users. In 2007, we expanded our manufacturing capacity by setting up a plant in China. In 2010 , we entered the Indian market with the launch of our formwork products and this marked Technocraft’s entry into the formwork market for building construction and infrastructure projects.

Over the years, Technocraft has successfully cemented its position as an undisputed leader in scaffolding and formwork products with in house manufacturing and complete control of the supply chain including last mile distribution through our own sales and distribution subsidiaries worldwide.

More recently, Technocraft has forayed into building solutions by launching its MachBuild line of products which include Pre-Engineered building solutions and ScaffShelters for portable cabins.

Technocrat Industries (I) Ltd. provides services in designing of Formwork and Scaffolding products. This is done In the design department of the company. The design department receives the necessary technical information of the project in order to design the most optimum solution to use scaffolding and formwork system in accordance with the project criterion and the applicable standards.


Technocraft Industries (I) Ltd implements BS and ASTM standards in the designing and production of Scaffolding and Formwork systems. Production is stricth/ controlled within the tolerance of these standards. All products are designed and produced by its personnel, applying the latest production methods with modern machinery. Our Quality Control team, under the supervision of mechanical engineers, is selected from long serving and experienced foreman. All products are checked during each production step and are compared with production drawings and specifications. The company is strictly bound to the concept of ISO and "Total Quality Management". The application of this management system is maintained and is a part of day to day operations.


Technocraft Industries (I) Ltd is working in this field since 1998 and with our experienced technical team we have the capacity and know how about the designing of scaffolding & formworks systems. We have In-depth knowledge about castings. Forgings, Press working and Fabrications which allows us to carry the production in the highest professional manner. Knowledge and experience over design and structural calculation work enables Technocraft Industries (I) Ltd. to provide design services to projects for Scaffolding and Framework

Lean Manufacturing: We are one of the few Scaffolding Companies in the world where entire plant runs on the Japanese Lean Manufacturing system. Our Material Planning, Procurement, Operational Efficiencies are based on TPM and TQM systems.
